What is Delta?

Delta is the new app that lets you play classic video games on your iPhone or iPad. It is called an emulator. An emulator is a program that recreates an old video game console like the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) on iOS device like your phone.

What are NES ROMs?

The NES was one of the first popular home video game consoles. It came out in the 1980s. Games for the NES came on little cartridges that you inserted into the console. Inside each cartridge was a memory chip with the game code on it. This game code is called a ROM.

To play NES games on Delta, you need to get ROM files for the games you want. A ROM is just a copy of the game code from an original NES game cartridge. It allows you to play classic NES games on modern devices through emulators like Delta.

Setting Up Delta

Once you have Delta installed and some NES ROM files, using it is easy. Just open Delta, go to the “ROMs” section, and select the NES emulator core. Then you can browse your ROM files and pick which game you want to play.
